Chögyam Trungpa Scholarship Fund

The Chögyam Trungpa Scholarship, in honor of Naropa's founder, is designed to attract prospective students who demonstrate exceptional academic promise. Three scholarships will be available each academic year.

This scholarship places emphasis on students’ aspirations to join the study of traditional academic subjects with the cultivation of personal journey and inner awakening. This journey uncovers the confidence of the student’s inner wisdom, the natural blossoming of compassion for others, and the delighted embrace of the challenges that arise when we step into service. The founder envisioned a complete education as one that cultivated the wisdom of the body, found in artistic training; wisdom of the speech or emotions, uncovered in psychological training; and wisdom of the mind, developed through world wisdom traditions.

Be a founding contributor to the Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche Scholarship Fund and make a lasting impact on the life of our students. $100,000 will fully endow this effort; however, we aspire to raise at least $1 million as a lasting tribute to the founder and a meaningful way to impact students for years to come.
