Student Union of Naropa
Who We Are
The Student Union of Naropa (SUN) is composed of nine motivated student representatives (SUN Guardians) who work to empower the voice of the collective student body and act on its behalf. We are Naropa’s student government and student representatives. We act as a bridge between the faculty, staff, student groups, and students themselves. SUN is also tasked with appropriately allocating the student activities budget. This budget is made up of $25 from every student’s tuition, every semester. If you’re a student at Naropa, that means that this budget is YOUR money and we want you to help us spend it. SUN representatives wear many hats, depending on the always shifting needs of the dynamic and unique student community.
In any given semester we are likely to be found helping out student groups, advocating for policy changes, and organizing events. We specialize in supporting and empowering students however we can.
