Chris studied Social Work and Psychology as an undergrad at Bloomsburg University, PA. She earned her Master of Arts in Expressive Therapies/Specialization Art Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Chris has been teaching at Naropa since 2005, as Adjunct Faculty until 2025 when she joined as Core Faculty and Transpersonal Art Therapy Chair. Chris brings together years of experience as clinician, supervisor, manager, teacher, and parent. She holds expertise in community mental health and children/teens/families. She values partnership and service. One of her recent rewarding experiences was as co-manager of a resiliency center that served people affected by mass violence.
