Trauma-Informed Veteran Awareness Training Workshop

We welcome you to join Student Veterans of Naropa and Naropa’s CARE team on Monday November 9 4pm-5pm MT for a Trauma-Informed Veteran Awareness training workshop. This training is open to all members of our community and will explore the themes and challenges with veteran mental health nationally, within a higher educational environment, and at Naropa. We will do group mindfulness exercises and explore scenarios and trauma-informed approaches for how we can support our veteran-connected students. The session is presented by Patrick Wilk, VA Work-Study and Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling student, and Emma Vogel, Director of Student Accountability & Advocacy and Case Manager for the CARE team.
