Remembering Earth: An Evening Lecture & Practice with Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee
Join Emergence founder and Sufi teacher Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee this October at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, for an evening lecture exploring how an embodied spiritual ecology can offer us a way to respond to our moment of ecological and cultural crisis.
In this dynamic event hosted by the Joanna Macy Center for Resilience and Regeneration, Emmanuel will draw from his new book Remembering Earth (Shambhala Publications, June 2026) to talk about the role of engaged spirituality at this critical time, and the universal elements within Sufi attitudes and practices that can be applied across traditions to help root us in reverence and love for the Earth. Following the talk, Emmanuel will share an immersive practice that reconnects the inner senses with the living world, and take part in a conversation and audience Q&A hosted by philosopher of ethics and social transformation and chair of the Naropa’s Eco-Psychology program Dr. Monica Mueller.
Location: Nalanda Events Center, Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, USA
