Beloved Community: On War

War in Palestine and Israel continues. Our hearts continue to break. Here are some resources, events and community offerings. We are on the side of children living full lives, of families sleeping safely, of the earth being honored as Mother, on the side of thriving communities, of humanity. No “side” other than that of humanity. Mercy, vulnerability and courage are needed.  Please continue to visit this page for updates on offerings/events.

Peace Vigil held by Student Success, MCIC, and SOCA

Gather with us in honor and support of all those suffering and grieving in the Israel and Palestine. We’ll meditate, write, chant prayers of Salam and Shalom, and then open up the floor to those who need to share from the heart.

If you are looking for resources to understand the conflict, be in community, or reach out and have your voice your concerns, then read below for more links. This will be updated as we gather new information and resources.

No one wins during war, and we are here to support each other through facing the difficulties of being human with intentional focus on cultivating peaceful relations among each other. This begins with each one of us showing up with a full heart and an open mind.

May our collective efforts and intentions bring peace to all beings.
