“Da Vinci said ‘…motion is life.’ What better way to move than to some music cranking and to lift the spirit? There is something coded in our DNA – something really ancient about our need as humans to come together with other humans, and music calls us all. Music is that beat, that rhythm that we feel in our hearts when our hearts are beating together in that same groove. There’s something going on there that we all long for. Something that we need that we don’t find in many other places in our modern society.”

Paul Bassis is co-founder and producer of the ARISE Music Festival. An independent, family-run, leave-no-trace event, the ARISE Festival takes place over three days (August 3rd-5th, 2018) at Sunrise Ranch, a 350-acre organic farm and retreat center, located in a stunning Colorado mountain valley just west of the town of Loveland. Recognized as more than a music festival, ARISE offers a range of activities such as workshops, enriching yoga classes, provocative documentary films and panel discussions, art installations, live painters and art gallery, performance artists and theme camps. ARISE also offers “interactive villages” including a Children’s Village, Food Truck Village, Vending Village, Healers Village, Hemp Village, and a Wisdom Village.

Naropa is excited to be partnering with ARISE Music Festival again! Through this partnership, you can get $20 off a GA festival pass with the code ‘NAROPA’ – discount ends May 11th! Get tickets here.
