Naropa University and the Environmental Studies Programs will once again be at National Bioneers, October 21-23.

Come stop by our table which will be staffed by MA Environmental Leadership Alum Karta Elise Hassler, Cindy Powers and faculty member Jeanine Canty.  Some other alum will be at Bioneers including Melanie Horton and Jade Begay – Jade will be part of several workshops including Traditional to Digital: Indigenous Youth and on a panel with Tom and Dallas Goldtooth called The Art of Intergenerational Activism.

Jeanine Canty will also be part of workshop (along with one of our most beloved Guest Faculty Belvie Rooks) called Multicultural Women Explore Ecological and Social Healing and will also be doing a book signing for her new collaborative publication Ecological and Social Healing: Multicultural Women’s Voices. Former faculty member and current director of Cultural Survival, Suzanne Benally will also be part of a workshop called Working Towards Respectful Collaborations: Integrating Indigenous Knowledge into Educational Institutions.

And finally, MA Environmental Leadership Guest faculty, the honored Joanna Macy will be on a panel called Spiritual Responses to the Great Unraveling.  We hope to see you there! ')}
