Larry Welsh worked as a psychotherapist at Boulder Mental Health Center and Longmont Mental Health Center in the 1980s and 1990s. He was a team leader at Boulder Mental Health Center’s “Friendship House”. He also was a team leader and therapist for Maitri Psychological Services in the 1990s. He started practicing as a licensed acupuncturist in 1993 through the present. He went on to study Chinese herbal medicine at the Colorado School for Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1996. He has a private practice in oriental medicine. He was senior acupuncturist at Lutheran Medical Center’s integrative health center “Bridges” from 1999 to 2012.

Naropa Campuses Closed on Friday, March 15, 2024

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Naropa campuses will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.  All classes that require a physical presence on campus will be canceled. All online and low-residency programs are to meet as scheduled.

Based on the current weather forecast, the Healing with the Ancestors Talk & Breeze of Simplicity program scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday will be held as planned.

Staff that do not work remotely or are scheduled to work on campus, can work remotely. Staff that routinely work remotely are expected to continue to do so.
