Emily has been working at the junction of mental health and wilderness for more than fifteen years. With expertise drawn from extensive time in the field with NOLS, Outward Bound, and Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, clinical work in wilderness, hospital, crisis, and private practice settings, and four years as the Executive Director of Women’s Wilderness, a local non profit, Emily melds her knowledge and passion into her teaching at Naropa.
