Jupiter/Uranus Chart Reading w/Embodied Astrology
Celebrations, conversations, collaborative art, poetry and ritual to commemorate Uranus and Jupiter’s conjunction in Taurus. How can we work with Afrofuturism and other speculative modalities, in conjunction with astrology, to articulate a people’s vision of the 21st century? The 2020s have already shown themselves to be the gateway into the new millennium. Climate disruption, currency inflation, racial reckoning, forced migration, the specter of AI and other post-normal, runaway trends compel us to face tomorrow afresh.

Collective Flower Mandala w/Adrian Molina
Nalanda Events Center
For Molina, the construction of the flower mandala is a practice in creative meditation. It symbolizes radical imagination and impermanence. Every flower mandala is a unique expression. There will never be another exactly like it in space and time, like any moment, any day, any year, any lifetime. The flower mandala invokes gratitude, presence, contemplation, and bold visions for our future designs.

Bending Spacetime with Lemon Balm: Chronobotany w/Asia Dorsey
Nalanda 9189
Plants like humans are unknowable. And yet, the process of inquiry and being inquired about is what gives shape and contour to all existence. Plant personhood like human personhood cannot be contained. These personhoods have a way of leaking upon engagement. Causing the perceiver and the perceived to become different and bend in new ways as a byproduct of those moments of belonging. One of the unexplored ways of using plants is through allowing them to change our perceptions of relationships and in this, change our perception of spacetime. This somatic session, combines social meditative technologies along with common, safe and powerful nervine plants to demonstrate our ability to shape time as a relational practice.

Space as the Portal into a Fearless Future…
(aka the intensification of space, aka the lizard) w/Carla RM Burns
Our relationship to space matters. How might the element of space help us to explore and discover new ground and ways of connecting into the future while in the midst of uncertainty and confusion? This will be an embodied and experiential journey that utilizes space awareness and yoga space practices (Mudra Space Awareness) as a resource toward body, heart-mind, space synchronization, and as the means to confront the edges of our everyday experiences in service toward a new and liberated way of being.

5 To 500- A People’s Plan for Planet Earth
w/The Once and Future Green
(Michelle & Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish)
We could radically redesign our communities for beauty, abundance, peace, culture, and regeneration. The multi-crisis of climate chaos and international colonization calls on us to reclaim ways of relating more aligned with ecological and human potentials. Many of our ancestral technologies feature larger time horizons and more inclusive “bottom lines”. In the audacious spirit of the cosmic alignment of the Jupiter Uranus conjunction, this workshop will inspire and sketch a process for local, national and planetary redesign. We’ll draw on amazing solutions from diverse global lineages, indigenous innovations, and current responses to eco-social degradation. We’ll work on a ground-up process to vision from the future and work our way back into the present to begin to articulate our local needs, dreams, and resources and build toward climate justice, ecological and social solidarity, and a thriving future for all Earth inhabitants. Join us!

Living Into Our Prophecies: Futurism From an Andean Indigenous Perspective w/Teresa Mateus
This co-created workshop space will include a combination of ritual, storytelling, creative visioning and reflecting together. The space will be grounded in the ancestral lineage of the Q’ero Paqos (indigenous spiritual-healer tradition) from Inca times (and before) and rooted in Pachamama/Mother Earth of the Andean mountains. We will explore the spiritual imagination of the Q’eros cosmology and the prophecy it offers for our times. Out of that we will vision together a collective prophecy for our own future, beyond what is possible into what is imaginal and visionary. We need our ancestral wisdoms and resilience, along with our contemporary imagination to vision our future liberated world. We will spend time exploring a visionary future beyond what seems possible informed by the past wisdoms, dreaming big together.
