Karen applies her life-long love of contemplative practice and play to her roles within Naropa and the wider Boulder County community. As a therapist, she serves folks in private practice, as well as with Boulder Community Health’s Outpatient Counseling Center, informed by a trauma-focused approach. As a visiting Instructor with Naropa’s Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Counseling MA program, she shares her love for learning with therapists-in-training. She is grateful to live in and spend time with the beauty of the Colorado mountains and streams.
