At Naropa University, safety is a must. That's why we created the SafeWalk Program on the Arapahoe Campus. The Safe Walkers are trained Naropa Caretakers who will go in pairs with you and will be carrying a two-way radio to stay in contact with the campus.
It's all about helping you feel safe as you walk from the Arapahoe Campus to your home, a bus stop, or your vehicle in the Goss-Grove neighborhood (from 15th Street to Folsom Street and from Arapahoe Avenue to Canyon Blvd.).
SafeWalk hours are 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
If you want someone to walk with you call 720-309-8211 and ask for a "safe walker."
Each campus has a lost and found where items left behind are gathered.
All valuable items, such as laptops, cell phones, wallets, and any cards that would typically go into a wallet will be returned to the campus safety office instead of placed in the general lost and found. To pick up valuable items, call the office manager at 303-245-4686 and make an appointment. Please be prepared to provide proof of identity and a thorough description of the misplaced item.
For all other lost and found items, the locations are as follows:
All University property is patrolled throughout every day and evening by the Safety and Facilities Caretakers. Trained in safety as well as their main job functions, the caretakers are constantly patrolling our campuses while out performing their job functions. Every evening, they lock up our buildings as well, ensuring all offices, other private spaces, and the exterior of all buildings are secure.
