Anna Valenti is a ceramic artist whose work centers around weaving structures and gathering spaces that cultivate belonging. Her research is in fiber clay bodies. She received her BA and ceramics post-baccalaureate studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014 and a MFA from the Maine College of Art in 2020. / / She has exhibited her work nationally at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Maine, Bray North Gallery in Montana, The Clay Studio in Pennsylvania, Soo Visual Arts Center in Minnesota, and the Hyde Museum in New York. She is the grant recipient of the NCECA Graduate Fellowship (2019) and invited artist of the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts Outdoor Sculpture Project (2020). Anna serves as a Board Member for East Side Art Institute in Lafayette, CO.

Naropa Campuses Closed on Friday, March 15, 2024

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Naropa campuses will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.  All classes that require a physical presence on campus will be canceled. All online and low-residency programs are to meet as scheduled.

Based on the current weather forecast, the Healing with the Ancestors Talk & Breeze of Simplicity program scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday will be held as planned.

Staff that do not work remotely or are scheduled to work on campus, can work remotely. Staff that routinely work remotely are expected to continue to do so.

As a reminder, notifications will be sent by e-mail and the LiveSafe app.
