Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose vocational background includes ten years of outdoor education, guidance, and instruction on rivers, mountains, desert, and on snow. They have four years' experience in mental health including residential treatment, career counseling, trauma, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and with young adults. Amanda is trained in Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, ACT, and EMDR. They also possess a NOLS Wilderness First Responder Certification, ACA Swiftwater Rescue, and AIARE Avalanche Training and Rescue certifications. Amanda was awarded the Naropa University Priscilla Inkpen Award in 2019.
