Alanna grew up in California but moved to Boulder seven years ago with her husband and daughter Odette. In Los Angeles, she had worked as a literary agent and as a moderator for market research companies. She then traveled and taught ESL before completing a master’s in Linguistics. She had intended on studying dying languages but had a daughter shortly after completing her degree and instead focused on raising the best human possible. When she moved to Boulder, Alanna began working in administration at Shining Mountain Waldorf School. She is thrilled to join the Admissions Team at Naropa and act as a guide for students to discover a path that fits their interests and goals.

Alanna works with prospective students interested in:

  • MFAs in Creative Writing & Poetics and Creative Writing (Low-residency)
  • Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling (In Person)
  • Transpersonal Art Therapy
