Sherry Ellms is an Associate Professor at Naropa University and the Faculty Lead at the Joanna Macy Center. Her interests lie in exploring the wisdom of the natural world and what it can teach us in these challenging time.

Richard Rudis founded the Illuminarium Convergence – a modest storefront for the examination of metaphysical phenomenon. He began teaching Buddhist Dharma and vibrational healing (w/Tibetan instruments) shortly after. Considered most knowledgeable in the field of sacred sound healing, sound instruments from the Himalayas and associated vibrational healing techniques he is often a featured presenter at International Conferences.

Diane Isreal graduated from Naropa’s MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology program in 1991. She is currently a psychotherapist, an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate School of Counseling & Psychology, and she serves on Naropa’s Board of Trustees.

Jayson Gaddis, relationship student and teacher and host of the Smart Couple Podcast, is on a mission to teach people the one class they didn’t get in school–”How to do Romantic Relationships.”

Betsy Leach taught in K-12 public schools for ten years teaching Spanish for Heritage Speakers and Spanish as a world language earning the 2017 UNC Language Teacher of the Year Award. She believes education should be a practice of liberation and empowerment.

David DeVine currently works as Media Manager at Naropa University. Previously, he worked as a successful production assistant for the Naropa Performing Arts Center as well as for numerous television networks, including MTV, VH1, CBS, Speed Channel, and FOX, and has served as an assistant audio engineer at Immersive Studios.

A renowned author and champion of sustainable development for over 35 years, Hunter Lovins has consulted on business, economic development, sustainable agriculture, energy, water, security, and climate policies for scores of governments, communities, and companies worldwide.

Richard Miller, PhD, spiritual teacher, yogic scholar, and clinical psychologist, has devoted 46 years to integrating Western psychology and neuroscience with the Eastern nondual wisdom teachings of yoga, Taoism, Buddhism, and the Judeo-Christian traditions.

Michael Bauer is the Director of Sustainability at Naropa. He works alongside students, faculty, and staff in resolute commitment to our mission of climate neutrality and ecological justice.
