BOULDER, Colo., April 20, 2015 -- Yoga Journal (www.yogajournal.com) and Naropa University(www.naropa.edu) announce the launch of "Life in Balance," a traveling symposium with leading visionaries on how yoga and mindfulness are transforming the world. The "Life in Balance" series is a continuation of Naropa University's Radical Compassion Symposium, and will take place at Yoga Journal LIVE! Events across the country.
Following its debut in San Francisco, the next "Life in Balance" series, "Being Present: How Mindfulness is Shaping Modern Society," will take place on Friday, April 24 at the New York Hilton in New York City as part of the Yoga Journal LIVE! Event (www.yjevents.com/ny). Panelists include:
The "Life in Balance" series will cover a number of diverse topics including mindful performance in business, sports and public service, treatment and therapy for our nation's soldiers, veterans and First Responders, and resilience in our personal lives.
