Join the Alumni Listserv

The Naropa Alumni Listserv, powered by Regroup, is the fastest and easiest way to stay in touch with the Naropa alumni community.

The purpose of this list is to provide an open forum for the posting and discussion of news and information relating to Naropa University alumni. Anything related to or about Naropa alumni is fair game. This includes anything from a marriage announcement to a referral request to a travel journal entry to a philosophical pondering.

There are some guidelines to follow in using the listserv to ensure that all members are considered and respected. Please read the guidelines below before joining. You may join, log in or visit the Naropa Alumni Listserv by clicking below.

Subscribe to the alumni listserv

To join a list please follow the instructions below:
  1. Visit naropa.regroup.com
  2. Fill out your name, email, and password and click ‘Join’ to create an account. Be sure to fill out the Captcha field!
  3. Once your account has been created, you will see several tabs for your profile settings: Account, Email|Phone, Join a group, and Group Notifications.
  4. Click on the ‘Join a Group’ tab.
  5. In the ‘Find Groups’ search field, type ‘Alumni’ and select ‘Alumni at Naropa University’ from the drop-down list.
  6. The official Alumni list will come up, click ‘Request to Join’ and your request will be reviewed and approved. You will receive an auto-confirmation when you are approved as a member of the alumni listserv.
  7. That’s all you need to do, once approved, you can start posting to the listserv by addressing your email to: alumni@naropa.edu
  8. You are welcome to review the other tabs at naropa.regroup.com to customize your profile and track how you would like to receive notifications from the listserv.

Unsubscribe from the alumni listserv

To unsubscribe from a list, visit your profile at naropa.regroup.com, select the ‘Group Notifications’ tab and click the icon under ‘Leave Group’ for the Alumni list group.

Once you are an approved member of the list, after you have subscribed (see above), you will be able to email the Alumni Listserv by sending an email to: alumni@naropa.edu Please note: you will need to send this email from the email address you used to subscribe to the listserv.

Naropa alumni listserv guidelines

  1. Region-Specific Postings

    You may wish to make an announcement or pose a question to the entire membership of the listserv. This is welcome and encouraged. However, in the event that you are announcing something SPECIFIC TO YOUR AREA, like a concert or a service, please precede your subject heading with the regional AREA you are targeting in ALL CAPS.

    Subject: BERLIN disco partyAs with all listserv postings, your message will go to all members. The special subject will simply help all to prioritize their message opening.

  2. Replying to Messages

    To reply to SENDER ONLY: simply hit “reply”.

    TO reply to ALL MEMBERS of the NAROPA ALUMNI LISTSERV: edit the “To:” field of your email composer and ensure that you are sending an email to alumni@naropa.edu.

  3. Modifying Settings

    To change the email address that listserv messages are sent to or to change your name, you will need to update your profile settings at naropa.regroup.com.

  4. Unsubscribing

    If you would like to unsubscribe, please visit the ‘Group Notifications’ tab in your account profile.

  5. Appropriate Language

    While free expression is greatly valued by Naropa University, we request that you show respect to all by keeping your language free of vulgar expletives. We expect mindful speech from all of our alumni, and sharing respect for one another through our tone, words and message.

  6. Appropriate Content

    The purpose of this list is to provide a forum for Naropa alumni to exchange ideas, professional inquiries, professional development opportunities and topics for discussion, resources and contributions to the continued success of alumni and Naropa.

Naropa Campuses Closed on Friday, March 15, 2024

Due to adverse weather conditions, all Naropa campuses will be closed Friday, March 15, 2024.  All classes that require a physical presence on campus will be canceled. All online and low-residency programs are to meet as scheduled.

Based on the current weather forecast, the Healing with the Ancestors Talk & Breeze of Simplicity program scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday will be held as planned.

Staff that do not work remotely or are scheduled to work on campus, can work remotely. Staff that routinely work remotely are expected to continue to do so.

As a reminder, notifications will be sent by e-mail and the LiveSafe app.  

Regardless of Naropa University’s decision, if you ever believe the weather conditions are unsafe, please contact your supervisor and professors.  Naropa University trusts you to make thoughtful and wise decisions based on the conditions and situation in which you find yourself in.
