Lauren has been a faculty member at Naropa University since 1993. She served both as the Chair and as a member of the Department Leadership Team of the Masters in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology Department. The Department Leadership Team is responsible for overseeing the skilled delivery of the department's mission to train Contemplative Psychotherapists. Lauren is also a private practice clinician who specializes in major life transitions including the process of grieving and the process of dying. She also specializes in working with infertility and adoption. She authored "Psychotherapy and the Paramitas: Walking the Bodhisattva's Path" in Brilliant Sanity: Buddhist Approaches to Psychotherapy.
