Jordan Quaglia received an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and a doctorate in Experimental Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. During his doctoral training, he was awarded Mind and Life Institute’s Francisco J. Varela Award. At Naropa, Quaglia directs the Cognitive and Affective Science Lab and uses diverse methods, ranging from neuroscience to smartphone-based surveys, to study emotion regulation, meditative cognition, and social functioning.
