BA in Elementary Education - Adjunct Faculty

Doreen Trees has worked as an early childhood professional, educator, and mentor for over 30 years. She help found a toddler care center in Boulder and start up schools focused in Waldorf Education. She received her training at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California and continued her education in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration at the Community College of Denver. She has lead her own early childhood classroom in private schools, lead and created parent child education classes and is an Adjunct at the University of Naropa; Department of Education. She teaches Child Guidance & Discipline and mentors students in the Internship program.

Doreen has volunteered her early childhood expertise in Nepal and Bhutan, with the NGO, American Association of the Care of Children supporting local teachers to help raise the quality of E.C.E. education programs, teaching skills and disciplines. She has served on the board of AACC since its inception and as Vice President for the last two years. Her interests and love of education are a continual path of inner blooming.
