Deborah McNamara is the Director of Partnerships with the Northwest Earth Institute, a non-profit organization focused on sustainability education and action. Deborah holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University, where she also received a Graduate Certificate in Ecopsychology. She holds a BA in Philosophy and Environmental Policy from Boston University. She is currently serving as an adjunct faculty member in the Environmental Studies Department at Naropa University where she is teaching ENV 100, Physical Geography.

She received the Peter A. Bertucci Award for Academic Excellence and Humanitarian Achievement from Boston University.
