Sex Positivity & White-Sex Supremacy: A Book Talk with Carole Clements, MFA, MA

Join Carole Clements, Associate Professor of Contemplative Psychology at Naropa University, for a critical—and queer—conversation (and book talk) about sex positivity and race. This talk will examine how White Supremacy shapes bodies, sex, and sexuality through discourse, meaning how we talk or don’t talk about sex. Utilizing queering as verb and mindful practice, participants will interrogate (white) normativity biases and problematize race-evasive tactics we unconsciously engage in around sex to increase our awareness and effectiveness at engendering inclusion and belonging.
