CU Boulder’s Renée Crown Wellness Institute, along with their University Libraries and Contemplative Resource Center, will be hosting Thupten Jinpa, PhD, in October for their Days of Compassion event series. Jinpa is the founder and director of the Compassion Institute and principal author of Compassion Cultivation Training. For nearly thirty years, he served as the chief translator for the Dalai Lama and as a Buddhist monk prior to founding the Compassion Institute. Author of the acclaimed book, A Fearless Heart: How the Courage to be Compassionate Can Transform Our Lives,Jinpa is a sought out speaker and expert on compassion- and he was Naropa’s Spring 2022 Lenz Distinguished Lecturer.
