Marc received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie-Mellon University in 2011. His education at CMU bestowed him with a strong theoretical background and an opportunity to contribute to research on speech perception and learning as well as mindfulness-based stress reduction. He then went on to receive a Master of Arts degree in Contemplative Counseling Psychotherapy from Naropa University. This experience was utterly transformative and allowed Marc to deepen his connection with himself and others.

Prior to working at Rangeview Counseling Center, Marc worked at Halcyon Hospice and the Wild Plum Center, a therapeutic preschool. Marc provides a mindfulness-based approach to psychotherapy. He focuses on developing emotional intelligence and somatic awareness in his clients. Marc believes that substance use is not a problem, but a symptom. In treatment, he aims to work with his clients to discover the underlying root of their patterns of use. Marc specializes in working with addictions, grief, and social anxiety. In his free time, Marc enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, and exploring Colorado’s beautiful trails and vistas.
