One of the greatest predictors of successful therapy depends on how effectively a therapist can create a space in which a client feels unconditionally safe and supported. My down-to-earth, informal, and practical therapeutic approach enables me to form a strong alliance with my clients. I am passionate about collaborating with people to help them address challenges, navigate difficult life transitions, and to recognize and maximize their personal strengths and resources.

My therapeutic approach is to integrate a variety of modalities to help you connect with your healthiest self. This may include: somatic/sensory awareness, Sandplay, EMDR, movement, breathwork, or direct experiential boundary exercises. My specialities include depression, anxiety/fears, eating disorders, substance abuse and other addictive behaviors, life transitions/crisis, trauma and abuse.

Couples Counseling is another one of my specialties. I have completed Level 3 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training Program, a research based approach to helping partners collaboratively address their problem areas as well as build on their strengths. Currently I am offering couples therapy on a sliding scale.
