Placing Holds
    • Search for the item you would like to place on hold in Library Discovery Catalog

    • When you have found the item, click on the title of the item to go into the item record page

    • From there, to the right you will see the Place Hold button—click on it

    • You will be prompted to sign in—sign in with your library account username and password

    • Choose your hold options and click the Submit button—your item is now on hold

    • If you cannot sign in, please contact library@naropa.edu to receive help getting your account in working order and placing items on hold

    • You will receive email notifications when your items are available

Research Assistance

One-on-one research assistance is available for all Naropa University students, faculty, and staff. Librarians are available to help you begin the research process or support your continued search for specific information.

Appointments can be conducted virtually or in person at the Allen Ginsberg Library on the Arapahoe campus. Appointments typically last for 45 minutes. You may schedule more than one research appointment throughout the course of a semester.

When creating an appointment make sure to use your Naropa email. We will respond with a confirmation email and any additional details.

We require 24 hours advanced notice for appointment requests and cancellations. To reschedule an appointment, cancel your current appointment and create a new one. Please contact us if you are running late; appointments are considered canceled after 10 minutes if it is a no-call no-show.

Faculty wishing to have Information Literacy Instruction offered in their classes should contact the library at library@naropa.edu.
