Robert Creeley Scholarship The Robert Creeley Scholarship is awarded to a returning low-residency MFA Creative Writing student who has completed a minimum of four weeks of the Summer Writing Program. The award amount covers tuition for up to four weeks of the Summer Writing Program. Students should submit a personal letter (1–3 pages) describing contributions and activities within the Writing and Poetics Department, the university and the larger artistic community, as well as recent professional accomplishments, including publications, current literary and cultural projects and involvements. Students should also submit a sample of writing (5–10 pages). Applications should be submitted to the Summer Writing Program Office. The scholarship is not renewable, although students may reapply for subsequent years, provided they have not reached the maximum of four weeks of tuition covered by the scholarship over the course of their degree.
