Mac Wellman’s recent plays are: Antigone, Bitter Bierce, and Jennie Richee. Most recently, his Two September has just opened at The Flea. In 2003, he received his third Obie for Lifetime Achievement. His opera, The Difficulty of Crossing a Field, premiered at Montclair State last September and in 2004 he received an award from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. He teaches at Brooklyn College.
