Lewis's recent books include The Origin of the World and Touch of the Whip. He is co-editor of The Angel Hair Anthology, editor and publisher of United Artists Books and director of the MFA program in creative writing at Long Island University.A novel, A Place in the Sun, and Inseparable: Poems 1995-2005 were published in 2007.
