Andrea Spain investigates philosophies of materiality and becoming in the context of postcolonial theory and literature. Her essay charting the relationships between memory, reparation, representation, and time will appear in Gender-Ghosts-History, a forthcoming anthology. She is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature at SUNY-Buffalo.
