Allison Hedge Coke is a professor at the Institute of American Indian Arts and has been a MacDowell Colony/Black Earth Institute Think-Tank fellow. An American Book Award winning writer with Huron/Cherokee/French Canadian/Portuguese ascendants, her poetry includes: Blood Run, Dog Road Woman, and Off-Season City Pipe; a memoir, Rock, Ghost, Willow, Deer; and five anthologies.
