Naropa students also have worked closely with faculty to develop proposals for overseas research and travel opportunities. In 2007, a team of students along with Adjunct Professor Natajara Kallio, Department of Traditional Eastern Arts, received a grant from the ASIANetwork/Freeman Foundation for study of pilgrimage traditions to Mt. Kailash, Nepal.
