Important Dates for Incoming First-Year Students at Snow Lion

Saturday, May 14:
Housing applications and deposits ($300) should be received by the Housing office. This is very important so that we can determine your placement. All American Disability Act requests for accommodations should also be received by this date. Please see the Learning Needs page for information on documentation guidelines and fill out a request and submit to Alicia Weiss.

Wednesday, June 1:

Preferred Deadline for all required students to deposit $300 damage deposit.

Wednesday, June 1–Wednesday, June 15:
Off-campus work-study calls all new students (that are not in snow lion) to offer resources to help them find housing

Wednesday, June 15:
Housing welcome packet is sent out. Includes documents that you will need to send back to the housing office.

Wednesday, July 15:
Housing assignments go out via email. You will receive information about what kind of room you received and info for roommates including phone and email address.

Wednesday, August 17 (9 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1 –4 p.m.) Move-in!:
Note: no move-in between 12 p.m.–1 p.m.

Move in. Bring any outstanding paperwork (if applicable). Please call (303-447-3846) or email to confirm what time you wish to move-in.

Wednesday, August 17 (5-7 p.m.):
Student and Family Snow Lion Orientation in the Nalanda Events center. (Parents and/or loved ones, please try to be here for this!) Light snacks will be served.

Thursday, August 18–Saturday, August 20:

Naropa University Orientation

Naropa University Orientation is designed to help facilitate your transition as new students to Naropa, and to foster a foundation for your academic, professional, and personal journey through Naropa and beyond.

Some of the events include Creating Community Together, Sustainability in Action: Zero-Waste and Sustainability at Naropa, Diversity Reception, Mystery Evening Option, and an Open Mic/Coffee House among others that you don't want to miss!

Parent & Family Weekend

Save the Date! More info to follow. Click on link above for a schedule of events. All events take place on the Arapahoe Campus with the exception of Friday evening student performances in the Nalanda Events Center
