Important Dates for Incoming First-Year Students at Snow Lion

Monday, December 12 – Friday, December 16, 2011
Off-campus work-study calls all new students (that are not in snow lion) to offer resources to help them find housing.

Friday, December 16, 2011
Housing assignments go out via email. You will receive information about what kind of room you received and info for roommates including phone and email address.

Monday, January 2, 2012:
Housing welcome packet is sent out. Includes documents that you will need to bring back to the housing office when you check in on January 11.


Friday, January 6, 2012:

Housing applications and deposits ($300) should be received by the Housing office. This is very important so that we can determine your placement. All American Disability Act requests for accommodations should also be received by this date. Please see the Learning Needs page for information on documentation guidelines and fill out a request and submit to Alicia Weiss.

Friday, January 6, 2012:

Preferred Deadline for all required students to deposit $300 damage deposit.

Wednesday, January 11 (9am–12pm or 1–4pm) Move-in!:
Note: no move-in between 12pm–1pm

Move in. Bring any outstanding paperwork (if applicable). Please call (303-447-3846) or email to confirm what time you wish to move-in.

Wednesday, January 11, 2012: 5-7pm
Student and Family Snow Lion Orientation in the Student Center for Excellence & Engagement, 2nd floor of the Administration Building on the Arapahoe Campus. (Parents and/or loved ones, please try to be here for this!) Light snacks will be served.

Naropa University Orientation

Naropa University Orientation is designed to help facilitate your transition as new students to Naropa, and to foster a foundation for your academic, professional, and personal journey through Naropa and beyond.
