Sarah Steward, Career Services Coordinator
I am originally from the great state of North Dakota. Over the past several years, however, I have studied and worked in both Iowa and Ohio.  In May 2008, I graduated with a MA in College Student Personnel from Miami University and made the transition to beautiful Colorado and Naropa University.  As the career services coordinator, I help students and alumni explore their values, interests, skills, and talents as they relate to their career and academic pursuits.  From choosing a major to planning an internship to preparing for employment or graduate school, I am here to assist them. 

Additionally, Career Services serves as the principal point of contact for employers and graduate and professional schools recruiting Naropa students and alumni. We offer a variety of recruitment options and services to help recruiters connect with students and alumni.

Career Services Vision and Goals
Career Services’ vision is to uphold the unique mission of Naropa University by supporting students and alumni in making meaningful and positive academic and career decisions as they meet the world as it is and change it for the better.  As the career services coordinator, it is my intention to:

Help students and alumni clarify their academic and career aspirations and develop the skills and confidence to translate their distinctive Naropa experiences to other settings.

Provide a variety of services, resources, and educational programs to promote comprehensive career development. 

Partner with various constituents both on- and off-campus to sustain students and alumni in their developmental journeys.

Educate students, alumni, faculty, staff, recruiters, and families about the support and resources available through Career Services.

Create a compassionate and welcoming environment that inspires students and alumni to be active in all stages of their career development.
