We are proud to announce today that we have renewed our historic partnership with the Boulder Book Store, which will open a “store within the store” exclusively for the use of our students, faculty, and staff, beginning this fall. We are grateful to David Bolduc, owner of the store and a long-time friend of Naropa, for his willingness to provide Naropa with a solution to its bookstore needs.

“Our history with Naropa dates back to its early days, when it was housed in our building—our upstairs ballroom was the first Performing Arts Center,” said Bolduc, a former Naropa trustee. “Naropa always has been a part of us, we’re happy to fill the community’s need for a bookstore specifically designed for its students, faculty and staff.”

Our community already is familiar with Boulder Book Store. As one of the region’s most unique independent booksellers, it has long specialized in titles with a contemplative focus. Additionally, we think having a Naropa location on the Pearl Street Mall will strengthen the connection between the Naropa and Boulder communities, all to be the benefit of our students.

Under our agreement, the Boulder Book Store, one of the anchors of the Pearl Street Mall at 1107 Pearl St., will carry textbooks and materials for all of the university’s classes. Additionally, it will also sell Naropa-branded apparel and merchandise online. Under our agreement, all faculty textbook orders will be coordinated through Susan Martich in the Office of the Provost. The Book Store has committed to having all textbooks and materials available for the beginning of the fall semester.
