The Student Affairs Office can assist you with understanding the Naropa University Student Health Insurance Plan and can support you in locating a provider in the Boulder area along with finding the answers about your coverage.

Health Insurance Options

Naropa University 2012-13 Student Injury & Sickness Insurance Plan

Naropa University, in partnership with Summit America is excited to announce the availability of the 2012–13 Student Health Insurance Plan. This plan is serviced by Summit America which includes the administration of claims.

The Naropa University Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan provides access to hospitals and health care providers locally and across the country through the MultiPlan/PHCS Provider Network.

The most efficient and accurate way to identify Network Providers is to call toll-free at 800-672-2140 or visit their website, MultiPlan/PHCS Provider Network.

The plan provides student-focused, affordable health insurance that protects students at school, at home and while studying or traveling abroad.

Undergraduate Students

Health insurance coverage is mandatory for all full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at Naropa University. Students are required to participate in the Naropa University Student Injury and Sickness Plan or provide proof of other adequate Health Insurance. All undergraduate students will be automatically billed for the student health insurance plan unless you submit an insurance waiver online at Summit America

Dependents of undergraduate students enrolled in the plan may participate in the plan on a voluntary basis. Eligible dependents include: the spouse—husband, wife or domestic partner—and unmarried children who are either under 19 years of age or, if full-time students themselves at accredited institutions, as old as 24. Eligible dependents must enroll in this plan directly with Summit America.

Graduate Students

All graduate students at Naropa University are eligible and may enroll in the plan on a voluntary basis. Graduate students must enroll in this plan directly with Summit America
