Cultivating a Life of Service

Starting a new nonprofit to serve the aging. Creating a fresh approach to helping the homeless. Developing new ways to protect the environment. These are just a few of the activities our students do to serve others and their world.

We often use the phrase "social-change agent" to describe the life to which our students aspire. Our alumni fill many service-orientated professions such as leaders of nonprofits, writers, teachers, peace and environmental activists, and members of the clergy.

To help you cultivate your own interests and skills as a future social change agent, Naropa offers many practical, meaningful, and inspiring opportunities like working with AmeriCorps and taking part in our very own Day of Service and Learning program to connect you with area charities and nonprofits.

It's about creating and living a life of meaning about cultivating a life of service.
