Deb directs the Wilderness Therapy Concentration within Naropa’s Transpersonal Counseling Psychology program. Her work experience includes private practice, serving in a psychiatric hospital, and in wilderness therapy settings. Deb has consulted in leadership and team development for businesses and organizations. She is also a senior Outward Bound Course Director, specializing in wilderness therapy and multinational mountaineering programs. She has over twenty-five years of climbing experience. Her publications include an article on climbing and meditation, and she has presented at conferences on contemplative training for therapists and diversity issues within the field of wilderness therapy.
Deb was elected as a Faculty Trustee in 2012.
