Former White Wave CEO to Discuss “Leading With a Purpose” at Naropa
Authentic Leadership program offers strategies for a tumultuous world

BOULDER , Colo. (January 12, 2007)—As a part of Naropa University’s popular Authentic Leadership Certificate Program, former White Wave CEO Steve Demos will deliver a presentation called “Leading With a Purpose” at Naropa University’s Nalanda Campus. The presentation will also be available to the public.

The Authentic Leadership Certificate Program, presented by Naropa University’s Marpa Center for Business and Economics, is a 15-week program aimed at training new leaders in a tumultuous world. Demos graduated from Bowling Green University in 1970 and then traveled extensively throughout Asia studying Eastern philosophy. He returned to the US with the specific goal of starting an environmentally focused company based on a clearly articulated value system. In 1977 Steve founded White Wave Foods, Inc., the largest producer and marketer of soymilk products in the US.
