Services for Naropa Staff

Naropa encourages its employees to grow personally, professionally, intellectually, and spiritually. For this reason, all Naropa staff have full library privileges. You will need your Naropa ID card to establish your account; library accounts are set up at the circulation desk.  Your Naropa ID card will serve as your library card.

Loan periods, circulation limits, and renewal limits for Naropa staff are as follows:

• NEW BOOKS – 3 weeks, 3 renewals
• BOOKS – 4 weeks, unlimited renewals, 30 total (including new books)
• AV MATERIALS – 1 week, 3 renewals, 3 total per format

All circulating library materials are subject to recall after 4 weeks. If an item is needed for reserve, it can be recalled immediately. If you have a recalled item, you will be notified by phone or email and given a new due date.

We do not charge overdue fines, except for reserve materials ($0.50/hr) and audiovisual equipment ($1.00/hr). However, after an item is 60 days overdue (or after 8 days of being on recall), it is marked "assumed lost" and patron is billed for the replacement cost + $25 processing fee. We will suspend your privileges until your bills are paid or the items are returned.

Naropa staff can also borrow audiovisual equipment from the library.
