Computer Lab Information
The computer labs offer PCs and Macs to students, faculty and staff at two of the Naropa campuses: Arapahoe and Paramita.
Arapahoe Computer Lab Hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED.
Location: Basement of the Administrative Building next to the Student Center & Student Counseling
Paramita Computer Lab Hours:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
Location: next to the student lounge
NOTE: The computer lab hours may change depending on the time of the year. The labs are closed during Naropa-observed holidays and for Practice day.
- There are currently a total of 26 Windows PCs and 2 Macs in the Arapahoe lab, while there are eight Windows PCs and three Macs in the Paramita lab.
- Computers are equipped with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for PC and Mac.
- Select computers have Sony Vegas Movie Studio, Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4, ProTools M-Powered 8.0.3, WordPerfect, Open Office and Microsoft Works.
- In cooperation with the library, the Paramita and Arapahoe labs have copies of the Olympus digital recorder software installed on select computers.
- Assistive software, providing alternative format accommodations to access the Internet and course materials, is installed in both labs.
- Each lab offers black and white laser printing; the Arapahoe and Paramita labs each have a scanner. Both labs have CD and DVD burning capabilities. Labs are staffed, so if you have any questions or problems with the computer, printing, scanning, etc., you can ask a staff member immediately.
Four PCs are available for student, faculty and staff use in the Nalanda student lounge. Black and white laser printing is also available at this location.
