Education

MA Expressive Arts Therapy, Lesley College, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Diplomate Jungian Analyst

My masters is in Expressive Arts Therapy with a focus in Art Therapy from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts (1986). I'm also a Nationally Registered/Board Certified Art Therapist. My education in Jungian psychology and transpersonal issues began when someone handed me Jung's book: Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Eventually I entered a Jungian training program with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts and graduated in 2010. Working with the unconscious is a spiritual practice that requires an open mind and a willingness to continue to learn beyond our educational trainings and certifications. Daily life and our relationship to the unconscious gives us tremendous educational opportunities.

From the Heart

I enjoy teaching at Naropa because the students are eager to learn and discuss difficult topics. I've taught several classes over the past 20 years and what I enjoy most is they also have the capacity to enter the world of the imagination, to tolerate and hold the unknown and the unknowable within the difficult moments.

Courses Taught

Jungian Psychology: Transpersonal Foundations and Central Concepts
