Max earned his Masters in Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy from Naropa in 2011.  In addition to Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy, he has taught in the Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology program. Currently, he has a grief and trauma-centered practice in Boulder, CO.  With his international background and training in disaster response, Max also serves as a mental health consultant to international organizations in times of crisis and disaster.  As an adjunct to his professional life, Max teaches Eco-psychology and land-based meditation practices in North India and Southeast Asia, and serves as a Commissioned Officer in the National Guard.
