Student Employment
Each semester, many Naropa University students take advantage of on-campus and community employment through our work-study and graduate assistantship programs. These programs are need-based and are awarded along with the rest of your financial aid package. If you’re not sure if you're eligible for these awards, please see Financial Aid for assistance. See student employee handbook..
Work-Study
Student employment has the potential to become another rich source of education while at Naropa. Most of our departments utilize student employees in some way and we rely heavily on the life skills and commitment student workers bring to the job. Student employees hold such diverse positions as grant writer, bike mechanic and computer lab assistant. Click Here
Staff Positions (temporary/part time Students Only)
Naropa occasionally has need for a student(s) to enter into a temporary/part time staff position. Student staff positons are few but one job title that opens every year is the Resident Advisor position (click the "Staff Positons" link for details). Please check this link through-out the year for jobs that may randomly be posted.
Graduate Assistantships
Naropa offers a variety of graduate assistantships, including administrative, teaching and research opportunities. Graduate Assistantships provide an opportunity to gain valuable skills in the student’s field while also earning a monthly stipend as well as a scholarship to be used toward tuition. To see current assistantships available, please click here.
All assistantships require that students have financial need as exhibited by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or International Financial Aid Application. Interested students should submit a resume and the Graduate Assistant Application Form to the Financial Aid Office at 2130 Arapahoe Ave. Boulder, CO 80302, by fax at 303-546-3536 or via email at finaid@naropa.edu. Please click here for the Graduate Assistantship Application Form in Word or PDF
Community-Based Work-Study
Not interested in working on campus? A portion of our annual work-study budget is used to fund community-based work-study. These positions are funded by Naropa but allow you to work in the community, primarily with children and disadvantaged persons. Gain highly relevant experience while still receiving your financial aid. Click Here.
