Retirement Savings Program

All regular, full-time Naropa employees are eligible to participate in the Naropa retirement program immediately upon hire. After one year of service with Naropa, employees will begin receiving a matching contribution from Naropa of up to 5%.*

Following the waiting period, employees may begin participation in the matching account with as little as 1% of their income.

In addition to participation in the matched account, all plan participants are eligible to also contribute to a supplemental savings account. Employees may begin participation in the supplemental account immediately upon hire to take advantage of the account’s tax-deferred status.

Naropa retirement services are provided by TIAA-CREF (www.tiaa-cref.org), a recognized leader in educational and research institution financial services.

*The one-year eligibility waiting period may be waived if the following conditions are met: faculty or staff otherwise eligible for the plan were employed by a college or university within the past year and were employed on a regular (not temporary or adjunct) basis for at least 12 months for at least 20 hours per week.
