A founding member of the Integral Institute (1999), David was Project Manager for the Institute's Human Change Processes Project team, which organized and evaluated over 1,000 empirical studies on various types of human transformation. David is currently serving as an Associate Host for the Integral Psychotherapy Domain of Integral University; Associate Editor for the AQAL Journal; and has been involved with the development of, production for, and training at, the Integral Psychotherapy Professional Seminar Series.
David's clinical experience stems from a two year run as a psychotherapist in two 24-bed locked psychiatric wards with dual-diagnosis (psychopathology & drug addiction) populations from varying socio-cultural backgrounds, trying to decipher the shadow of the culture of managed care in his spare time.
David's thesis in graduate school was on Multiple Lines of Development, which is where his theoretical interests find him most of the time.
Samples of his Integral Life Practice include weightlifting, sitting meditation, kung-fu, tai-chi, reading, petting his cat, and watching as much comedy as possible.
