Soltahr (a.k.a.Gail Sanford)

holds an MA degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from the Naropa Institute. She currently is in part-time private therapeutic practice and facilitates training in Multicultural Issues. She is in her third year as an adjunct faculty in The Transpersonal Department, having taught a course entitled: Multicultural Issues in Therapy. She is also the Multicultural Team Coordinator for the department. She has published a journal article in the Journal of Counseling and Development. She is a certified Reiki Master and a named Healing Woman in the Hopi shamanic tradition where she learned to practice group and individual healing ceremony. For the last 17 years, she has been a ritual Priestess in the Pagan Earth Centered Tradition. She is one of the featured healers in the recently released book by Carol Kronwitter: Women of Grace--Women Healers and Healing Practices.
